The highlight of my every year is our return to the Philippines! I never fail to walk away without gaining a renewed sense of gratitude for the opportunity to interact and help the people of the Philippine islands. Since the start of Project Kuya, we’ve accomplished so much good and there seems to be a never ending fire within each member of the Project Kuya team to keep giving!

My name is Dylan Staheli and I’ve been privileged to be a part of Project Kuya since day one! Seeing the evolution and progression of what started out as a simple idea and desire to help people has been incredible. Making Project Kuya a reality has been a life changing experience. One of my favorite things about going to the Philippines each year is how affected I am each time by the people in which we render service. While we bring physical necessities to the people of the Philippine islands, I always bring home with me a more tender heart and a greater understanding of what is truly important: to love one another. This is the greatest lesson the Filipino people have taught me.

I can’t wait to return to the Philippines in just a few short weeks, and I’m even more excited to see what the future holds for Project Kuya! You can be an instrumental part of helping this organization grow and expand. You can show your love and support by donating to this years cause, following the Project Kuya blog and social media accounts, or contacting us for more information. THANK YOU!
