New Project

We are so excited to share with you some of our plans to help people this year. Last year, we had an incredible opportunity to start Project Kuya. We used donated funds to provide every day necessities to communities on the islands of Cebu and Negros. It was a huge blessing to be able to go back and help some people that we have grown so close to.

This year, Project Kuya will be focusing on one community in particular. Most of the donations this year will go directly to a community that is in Mabolo, Cebu. Most of the Project Kuya team has lived in the Philippines for about 2 years. Each of us have worked in many different areas that are stricken with poverty unlike anything you've ever seen here in the U.S. For 2017, we have decided to help a community that lives inside the Cebu Chinese Cemetery.

This cemetery is home to so many people who have no where else to go. Right outside the heart of Cebu City, people have ended up living in the tombs of the cemetery. We have seen a lack of basic hygiene necessities for the people who call this place home. Even with these harsh living conditions, the people are filled with kindness and compassion. They are the most deserving people and we are humbled to have the opportunity to lend a helping hand to them this May!

We ask that if it is within your means to donate, please do! If you'd like to donate supplies, feel free to email contact@projectkuya.com and we can send you some nearby drop off locations in Utah. If you'd like to donate money, you can do so by clicking on the link below. A single U.S. dollar is equivalent to 50 Filipino pesos. That can buy more than a kilo of rice to help feed families! We will be fundraising and collecting donations until the end of April! Know that everything donated goes directly to help the Filipino people. We appreciate all of the love and support that we have received so far! Thank you so much!
